জানো ? আমার এক কালেতে ছিল ষোল ডিঙা ?
একে একে সবই গেছে,ফুঁকছি এখন শিঙা !!
ভাবছ বুঝি,আমি ছিলাম খেয়াঘাটের মাঝি ?
পোড়া কপাল!তোমার মাথায় গোবর পোরা বুঝি?
ষোল ডিঙার অর্থ হলো,ষোল রকম কলা,
যেমণ ধরো গান,বাজনা,মিষ্টি কথা বলা।

ষোল ডিঙার অর্থ হলো,ষোল রকম কলা,
যেমণ ধরো গান,বাজনা,মিষ্টি কথা বলা।
সাঁতার,ব্যায়াম,ছবি আঁকা,চুলের পরিপাটি,
লেখাপড়া,মূর্তি গড়া,রান্না খুঁটিনাটি।
গল্প লেখা,গল্প বলা,মঞ্চে অভিনয়,
পাখী পোষা,বেশভূষা,আর রমণী মন জয়।

কোন খেয়ালে,মনের ভুলে হলাম যে সংসারী,
ষোল কলার দফা রফা,ভাঙলো হাটে হাঁড়ি।
কাঁচাকলার মতই এখন হবিষ্যি তে লাগি,
মনে ক্ষুধা,মুখে সুধা,ভাল মানুষ,যোগী।

সময় পেলে বোকার মত লিখি কেবল পদ্য !
এমন ভুল আর কেউ ক'রো না,হয়ে বোকার হদ্দ।।
